Sound Baths have a positive effect on our bodies, and have been used in ceremonies around the world and in many cultures. The Full moon is a wonderful time to release any energy that no longer serves you, and welcomes in new energy that aligns within you. Sounds amazing right?
Here are some sound healing benefits you may notice: active digestion, deeper sleep, quiet mindfulness, releasing stress, calming nerves and hyperactive behaviors, along with helping the parasympathetic nervous system. True wellness arises when we re-align ourselves with the elements of sound! Here are a few things to bring with you: Blankets, Pillows, Yoga Mat, Water Bottle, offering for the Altar (please remember to take it with you after the practice) Feel Free to bring a Jar of water for the altar, if you would like to taste the Full Moon frequency afterward!!

Are you new to yoga and wish to find an easy way into your practice?
Yoga Nidra is the deepest form of relaxation. The yogic state of Nidra is beyond the waking state, past the dreaming state and is a form of sleep state where you are actually awake. The stillness of this practice brings incredible calmness, clarity of mind and deep nourishing rest.
In this class you will enjoy a beautiful, guided Yoga Nidra journey. All levels welcome including beginners.
You will leave the class feeling renewed, energized, fully rested as if you have had a conventional sleep for a much longer period. You will enjoy complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation.
When Yoga Nidra is practiced regularly, it brings a deep state of calm which transcends into everyday life. Even strenuous mental and physical activities will not feel as stressful when you have achieved this state of calm.
Yoga Nidra or Yoga Sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, and is a state in which the body is completely relaxed, and the practitioner becomes systematically and increasingly aware of the inner world by following a set of verbal instructions. This state of consciousness (yoga nidra) is different from meditation in which concentration on a single focus is required. In yoga nidra the practitioner remains in a state of light pratyahara with four of his or her senses internalised and only the hearing still connects to the instructions.
The yogic goal of both paths, deep relaxation and meditation are the same, a state of meditative consciousness.

How to Prepare for Breathwork Sessions:
Eat Light: Nothing heavy 1 - 2hrs before session.
Make sure you are comfortable - dress in loose clothing, bring yoga mat, blanket, pillow, anything to support you.
Hydrate: drinking water before and after aids in releasing toxins and flushes out anything this session brings up.
No drugs or alcohol 24hrs before your session.
Be Early: Arrive 15 mins early to settle and get centred.
Mentally let go of any expectations - every session is different trust the process whatever happens, happens, lean in.
Scent warning please let us know if you are sensitive: sage and essential oils may be used.
Before your session set a clear intention that will guide your journey. Example: "I choose to be present and open to this experience," "I allow myself to heal and grow," or "I embrace inner peace and trust the process".

Possible things that could happen during session:
Body sensations: tingling, shaking, movement, hot/cold, sweating.
Emotional releases: crying, laughter and other emotions.
All these things are perfect normal and some people may not experience anything and that is perfectly normal too. Trust the process, your body has an innate wisdom, it knows exactly what needs to be released and when it needs to be release it. Our body is an incredible gift and if we start to listening to it then we will be guided back to our true essence.
After Session:
Allow time for integration.
Plan for quiet time afterwards: Minimize distraction and avoid electronics.
Hydrate: Drink water
Have shower or epsom salt bath to release everything.
Be gentle with yourself.
